“Wherefore comfort yourselves together,

and edify one another, even as also ye do.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Purpose and Mission Statement:

The purpose and mission of “Heart of Our Home” is to provide young women a positive opportunity to develop new relationships with other Christian women with small children.

To gain strength and support to face the everyday struggles, pressures, and joys of one

of God’s highest callings, but most importantly to develop a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.

About Heart of Our Home:

We’re praying that this ministry will be a blessing-

Being a mom, wife, and homemaker is a very challenging and rewarding calling.

We want this ministry to be:

  • An encouraging atmosphere where a mom finds out she's not alone
  • A haven for frazzled nerves
  • A relaxed place for caring, sharing and fun
  • Share the joys and challenges of parenting with other Christians
  • Explore and learn strategies for applying Biblical principles to the raising of children
  • Socialize with others striving to live a Christian life
  • Provide their child(ren) with fun and nurturing outings

Every wise woman buildeth her house:

but the foolish plucketh itdown with her hands.”

Proverbs 14:1

Building up our homes is a very demanding job. You probably have already figured out

that there is a wide gap between what you expected it to be like and what the true

reality of your actual lives is. Let’s face it, in this season of your lives you spend most

of your time nurturing others. We all need a place where we can be nurtured and

develop tools that will help us just make it through the day.

We’re here to help the young mom and wife who is:

Isolated….

-without extended family in the area

-in neighborhoods without other moms at home

-missing the camaraderie of the workplace

Insignificant…

-in a culture that minimizes their value and role as mothers

Intimidated…

-by information overload from parenting “experts”

Do you know women who need to be reminded:

-“I’m not the only one who feels this way.”

-“My job as a mom is the one of the most important things I’ll ever do.

-“God does provide me with the resources to make this job possible.”

Our goal is to approach every subject in light of what the Bible has to say.
