The search for a church that is right for you and your family can be a daunting task. Those of us at Fairwinds Baptist Church want to put your mind at ease as you visit us and consider making us your church home. We want your first visit to be uplifting, inspiring, and pleasant as you are welcomed by the friendly people of our church. Here are some answers to some of the questions that you may have before you come to visit us.

What Should I Anticipate When I Arrive?
When you arrive at Fairwinds, youíll enter a large parking lot between the main church building and the school buildings. Feel free to park anywhere you desire. The main church building houses our nurseries and some Sunday School classrooms as well as the church auditorium. The school buildings house our Junior Church and other Sunday School classrooms.
Does Fairwinds Provide Services for Children?
Yes. There is something for children of all ages in which to participate during the Sunday School and Worship Services. Every Sunday School classroom is prepared to be safe for all children and staffed with friendly, well-trained teachers and workers to assist your children no matter their age. These classes begin at 9:30 am. If dropping your children off in the nursery, youíll receive a pager so the nursery attendants can contact you if necessary. You can drop off your children any time you arrive at our church. For children four years old through sixth grade we have Junior Church in our school building which is a fun and Bible-centered service during the Worship Service at 10:30 am. Our goal is to make church exciting and memorable for your child.
Are There Services for the Teens?
The F.I.T. Department ranges from grades seven through twelve and meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. There is a class for seventh and eighth grades and also another class for ninth through twelfth. The teens then join the Worship Service at 10:30 am. Grades seven through twelfth also meet together every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
Are There Bible Classes for Adults?
Yes. One of the best ways to get to know people at Fairwinds Baptist Church is to visit one of the many Adult Bible Sunday School Classes. There are a couple of classes located in the Sunday School building while others are located in the main church building. One of our greeters will meet you and answer any questions you may have about where you should go.
What Can I Expect During the Worship Service?
During the Worship Service you will enjoy the uplifting music of the congregational songs, choir, orchestra, and special music. The music is followed by a challenging message from the Bible from Pastor DeStefano. This service is a little over one hour in length. Afterward, be sure to stick around to meet the Pastor or other folks who will want to meet you.
How should I dress?
There is no dress code at Fairwinds Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional ďSundayĒ dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Fairwinds Baptist!
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We donít invite you to Fairwinds Baptist Church for your offering. We want you to enjoy our services without any pressure to give in the offering. Our desire is to provide an environment where you can enjoy a warm, family spirit where you can learn from Godís Word and grow in His grace. Please donít feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
